Yes, the motor gets up to temperture. It does not over heat. I can get AC...but not heat. It was working good one day and not working the next.

    The heater coil was clogged.

does the motor get up to tempature? does it over heat or stay too cool?

  • Anonymous Apr 01, 2014

The heater was blowing heat but sounded like a blade was loose. Now there is a small amount fo heat but the fan does nto blow it. It makes a sound like it is running but not blowwing. This is for a 2002 mercury mountaineer.

When i turn on my air conditioner on my 2002 Buick LeSabre my fuse blows for the right fan. Do i assume the fan is bad? The left fan still works when the car gets hot.

My air conditioner on my Buick has a full charge of Freon and when it is hot out I don't get the cooling power in the cabin as I have it on low switch so when I put the switch on the high the Air doesn't change to cool the interior on high. I had the Freon tested and it still doesn't work properly and I wonder if there is a sensor that doesn't allow the system to cool properly?

2002 Buick LeSabre Custom. Cooling System had brown chiffon looking foam in radiator. Drained and flushed cooling system with water. Disconnected both heater hoses and forced water through in both...

The brown looking chiffon could be oil in the water. However, if you are sure the system is ok then I would check the actuator door motor on the heater and make sure it is allowing the heat into the car. Seems as if you have done as much as you can.

The air conditioning system will only blow cold air. Regardless of the mode, I can only get cold air. Can you give me an idea on how to fix the problem? Thanks Don 615-653-3834 [email protected]

The air conditioning is supposed to blow only cold air. Are you trying to get the heater to blow hot air? Make sure the temperature selector is in the hot position.

The heater will only blow cold air. THe engine is warmed up but no hot air is being produced. What is the problem?

Start simple, check the coolant level, if it's too low, hot coolant won't reach the heater core, resulting in no heat. If the level drops further, the engine overheats. So check the level 1st, if it's ok, what does the engine temp gauge indicate? Is it running cold, normal, hot?

2000 Buick LeSabre No heat, blows cold air.

check to see if both hoses are hot going to your heater core if they are then core is fine. That would point to your temperature sensor.
