2004 Chevy Impala LS 3.8L
Shortly after starting the car while parked or driving at slow speeds I will loose all electrical power to the vehicle. Inside the cab I lose power steering, brakes and dash power all within 2 to 3 seconds and the vehicle stalls out and shuts off. I have had the alternator and battery tested by AutoZone and they both passed with flying colors. While testing them the car did turn off and according to the AutoZone rep there a was a puff of white smoke rising from the bottom of the engine compartment. The car drives and operates normally except for this. Autozone did run the DIAGS on the car and didnt report any codes.The car does this at random and is never predictable
Check all the ground cables and wires.make sure that the ground cable going to the engine is clean and tight.
2004 chevy impala keeps stalling and has a odor coming out of the vents. It would start but after a couple minutes it would stall. So I replaced fuel pump and oil pressure switch and its still doing the same thing. Also changed relay switch and nothing any help would be appreciated.
