Free ford radio codes

My mechganic has worked on the vehicle, disconnecting the battery. Radio etc will not now operate - asking Code 0000. I have no Manula with the vehilce or any other info. (Bought from a foreclosing bank.) Is there a default code or over-ride code? If not, what do I do. I'm in the Philippines, not the US.

SOURCE: code for a Ford Mondeo 6000cd radio

Hi Geof

Your radio code number should read: 5796.

I trust this will do the job.

I have no other code for your model.

Please let me know if this works.

I have changed the battery on my vehicle and I have not got the radio code. I'm trying to get it for free because it's a 2006 vehicle but nobody can help.

Here's some sites that may help you. The Dealer can get it for you with the Vin and proof of ownership of the vehicle.

After disconnecting battery my car radio asks for code. Ford Ranger made in Thailand. Radio model 18D827

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

Radio removal instructions can be found here..... or search YouTube for a video

Extractors are available on Ebay .... cheap !

Please can anyone help my elderly neighbour had some work done on his car battery disconnected e has no code ford 600 cd radio code m069766

Unfortunately without the code the radio cannot be activated and you will need to go to a ford dealer to access the code if it is still in their system for which there will be a fee charged. Every radio has its own individual code. You will need to supply them with the vehicle details including the Vehicle Identification Code (VIN).

Bought a ford focus and dont have the code for the radio 6000 cd the serial number is V278993 . have been told i can get the code free on the internet ? your

When you disconnect your battery and then reconnect itagain, it disables the radio. This is an anti-theft protection for your carradio.
The enable your radio the activation code is in your vehicle owner's manual. Ifyou do not have this code you need to go to your Ford servicecentre and get them to enter this code for you.

My clock and radio doesn't work since I had a new battery installed...the fuses look ok

Hi,
you don't mention the year of the vehicle, however, must modern vehicles have an anti-theft / tamper with their radios etc. Removing the battery drops the code in the memory of the radio and it will not operate when the power is restored.
Check your vehicle's doc's for the info on how to re-code the radio.
Good luck.

My radio is locked i just need the code for a monte carlo 97 GM delco radio

If the code is not at the back of your manual, try 0000 and if the radio locked it self from taking any more codes. Just disconnect the battery and that will reset the radio so you can re-enter the code. If 0000 did not work then log on to Radio-code.com, you can get your cod there for like $12.00 which is cheaper then the dealer and you get to know the codes as most dealer will just unlock the radio. Good luck and hope this helps, keep me posted if you have any more question.

Radio locked after disconnecting battery

In your manuel there is instruction to unlocking the radio and you may have the code's written in the back. If it does ask for a code try 0000 and if that does not work try logging on to www.radio-code.com.
They can give you the instruction and codes you need to reset your radio. If you have a good relationship with the dealer they may be able to help you out too since they are always disconnecting and changing batteries.
Good luck and hope this helps.
