Check your fuel filter. It may be clogged. If it is, you'll have no problem with starting and idling, since these require relatively little fuel flow, and even a clogged filter can usually flow enough for that. When you try and accelerate, the engine demands much more fuel, and a clogged filter may not be able to flow enough, which can shut the car down.

There is air in the fuel pump...locate the fuel filter there is a round cap on top of it that you can push down like pumping fuel into the injection pump. When it gets hard, loosen the wing nut for about 3 turns just enough to let the air escape. Do this process until what comes out is a solid flow of fuel, which indicates no more air trapped. This is how diesel engines behave... hope this helps

Try using the other key to lock and unlock the car and start it but keep the original key that was used when the wiring was messed with away from the car this has worked in the past also some times just let the car sit for a while and use the remote to lock it for a bit like 5 mins then unlock it with that second key we were talking about not the first one when the problem happened.
