Replaced radiator but now it seems like car is stuck in neutral...

Replaced the radiator yesterday according to instructions and put everything back how I found it. My girlfriend drove the car about 1 mile and lost all acceleration. The car acts as if it is in neutral, engine idles fine, fans are coming on, and no overheating, just no acceleration as if the car is in neutral. It's an automatic transmission. Wondering if I hit something by accident or need to put in some transmission fluid.

Check out all the wiring connections having anything to do with your transmission. Some wire has dislodged.

Car does not shift to 1st gear after being flooded.

Since you said that you drove through water paddle surely water splashed into the engine compartment,where the main wiring plug of the automatic gear box is. You c\n find it easy is between the radiator fan and the gear box on the top of the gear box. Disconnect it and use a contact cleaner spray by spraying into the connectors both faces.

YOUR actuators for blend door are stuck unhook battery let sit a few minutes and hook back up this causes hvac actuators to do a relearn and will sometimes free a stuck one

starter may have a short or open windings. Remove starter and have it tested at parts store for current draw.
