The squeal would be the alternator slipping on the belt. I would think either the newly installed belt is not the correct length, or the belt tensioner is no longer doing its job properly.
this sounds like a loose or worn belt possibly a belt tensioner also that needs attention.sometimes if a bearing gets bad like an alternator bearing can make a noise.
It sounds to me as if your serpentine belt and/or belt tensioner is bad, I had a similar problem on my s10 and replaced belt,idler & tensioner. All three pieces ran about $80.00. I did the work myself. Hope this helps.
Put the car in neutral, set the parking brake, open the hood, get someone to listen/see where the sound is coming from, as you press on the accelerator.
