let car cool down, then unplug torque converter clutch solenoid on transmission (it is usually a square 4 prong connector on side of transaxle toward front of car mine is blue) and yes you can leave it unplugged without damaging anything. it just won't lock the converter up during cruise speeds. to replace solenoid the side cover of transaxle must be removed.

Maybe you have a clogged Gas Filter, Or perhaps the Fuel Injectors are dirty? Purchase some premium Gas, see if it helps, If it helps and the problem temporarily goes away maybe the Mechanic or Auto Supply can help.

have you had the engine serviced ,plugs,filters etc also put some fuel additive in the fuel to help clear any deposit build up in cylinders etc, as vehicle has not been run for a while a service might be required to get running smoothly through the speed range
94 chevy cav. after driving for a while, the car shuts off when u break. it will start back up but stalls as soon as you put it in a gear. let it sit for half hour and it will drive again for a while then starts the process all over again. any suggestions
check airflo sensor or potentometer,throttle pos sensor; if revs are to low when turning the wheel the power steering pump will draw power from engine, causing your other problems
