Mustang error codes P0340 , P0344

Some days ago i found that the button "Check Engine" was lightining. I have connected my T1000 to understand what's wrong? Trinity have showed me 2 problems: 1) "P0340" P0340 Camshaft Position Sensor A Circuit (Bank 1 or single sensor) 2) "P0344" P0344 Camshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Intermittent (Bank 1 or single sensor) Please tell me what should i do , cause I'm not from USA and that is why it is a big trouble to solve any problem with Mustang or any other USA muscle car... PS. There were not any crash accidents or smth else. I have cleaned my CAI filter some time ago...

SOURCE: code p0446, code po340

P0446 is a malfuntion in what is called your EVAP system spicifly the canaster purge valve . What this system dose is it takes fuel vaper and exese fuel from the fuel return at the gas tank and on damand at at hire speed or heavy load and send it to the intake manifold to be burned so it dosn't leak into the atimisphere. The P0340 code is a mis fire on #4 cylinder random and is being caused by the 0446 code.P01850 sounds like a transmissiton code that is like a byproduct and also caused by the P0446 as well .The first thing to check is the gas cap the system is a sealed system its the cheapest and easyest thing to check if it is leaking it would cause all of these problems . If its not that then you need to look at canaster purge valve its one of these two things

SOURCE: P0344 Camshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Intermittent (Bank 1 or

The camshaft sensor is located right above the crankshaft pulley on the passengers side of the front cover of the engine. It will be a 3 pin sensor either gray or black in color. There is a pointer that is attached to the sensor and it is either gold or silver in color. There is also a recall out on this camshaft sensor. If the color of the sensor is black then it should qualify for the recall. If you get in touch with a Ford dealer they should be able to help you with your recall if the sensor is black since it is a safety recall. As far as your exhaust pressure sensor it is located on the front of the engine right by the heater core hose a little to the passengers side of the center of the front of the engine. there will be a tube attached to the bottom of the sensor that goes from it to the front of the exhaust manifold on the very front of the passengers side exhaust manifold.

How many 'Limp Mode' scenarios are there?

The P0340 and P0344 codes are for the crankshaft position sensor on bank One, (Left side of the engine as you stand at the belt and pulley end of the engine block). Replace the sensor to see if it fixes the problem.
I cannot find a U1412 code so it could be a Dealership only error code.

I have a 2003 chyrsler 300m it went in limp mode codes p0700. P0340 p0344 p0430 p0888 came up cleared the codes and now it knocks.

clearing codes wont correct the problem and limp mode is designed to protect motor and transmission - p0700 is a transmission problem
P0700 Transmission Control System Malfunction p0340 is camshaft position sensor malfunction
https://www.obd-codes.com/p0340 p0344 is also a camshaft position sensor circuit problem
P0344 Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Intermittent your p430 is a cat converter problem
https://www.obd-codes.com/p0430 and p0888 is transmission relay problem these reasons are limp mode the knock can be fuel not burning correctly or a lower engine knock can mean you damaged a piston

P0340 code and p0344 on 3.7 dodge Dakota

First check the easy thing. Have your battery tested. Sensors very sensitive to failing battery. If the battery tests fine then you will need to change the Cam sensor probably a $30 part. On your truck remove the air filter housing & the cam sensor should be easily accessible at the front of the cyl head. Hope this works for you. Based on your P codes it should.

Neon Code P0344

I believe that the splice for the cam sensor is about 8 inches back in the harness. Power to the cam supplies several sensors. I have fixed a few that the splice was bad, There is very little room to work in to get to the splice, but it's not impossible to fix.

P0344 Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Intermittent

You'll need to replace the Camshaft Position Sensor and might as well replace the crankshaft sensor as well. With these codes and the symptoms you describe this should clear the problem for you. Also check the wiring harness around both sensors to make sure there are no issues. Maje sure no insulation is cut or missing along the entire run of the associated wiring.
