89 sedan deville not blowing heat !!!!!

Hi , what problem are you having ? There is no such relay on a 89 Cadillac ! Could you possibly mean a ASD relay - auto shut down relay ? That component is used on Chrysler products !

FIRST CHECK FUSE,MAY HAVE POPPED OUT A LITTLE AND NOT MAKING GOOD CONTACT OR THE BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR IS BAD,LOCATED NEXT TO BLOWER MOTOR,EASY TO REMOVE,2 SCREWS HOLD IT ON AND IT'S PRICEY FOR YOURS.

The firing order is 1 8 4 3 6 5 7 2

It is the engine front cover( from diagram in the 1988 service manual

If the gauge indicates that it is running on the low side, or never seems to warm up, it could indicate a thermostat stuck in the open position, which will prevent it from reaching operating temperature, and would explain little or no heat situation. 1st, tough, check the coolant level. If it's low it could cause the no heat problem.
