Check for a blown fuse next to the battery.

SOURCE: 2006 Ford Truck (Diesel) Just Clicks, Won't Start

had the eact same thing happen on my diesel and it turned out to be the alternator which had fried oine of the batteries.... you could put a charge on them and it would run for a week or ten days and then nothing.. clean the cables charge it up and it would go again... finally it just stop taking the charge and I look deeper and replaced the batteries ran fine for two weeks then dead again... alternator finally finished itself off... problem had been a little intermittent till then.. good luck

SOURCE: New battery, new starter just installed wont turn over.

turn on your headlights ,then turn key like your going to try and start the engine and see if the headlights dim dramatically, then you'll know if you have a good connection to starter from battery, then check chg on new battery

I cannot fnd an electrical discharge on my 1994 Ford Escort GT 1.8l 2-Door Hatchback.

These things can take hours for even an experienced tech to find.
Had you done anything to the vehicle just before this started ? New radio ? Bumped into another car ? Anything. If so that is a place to start.
Remove the negative cable and read the voltage between the negative post on battery and the cable. If there is voltage, you have a short to ground. You can rig up a light and connect it between the negative battery post and the negative battery cable. The shorted wire will let the bulb light. Remove fuses one at a time til the light goes out and that is the circuit with the problem. Hopefully you won't have to go to removing wires.

What could be causing my 97 ford escort to loose power i have already replaced the battery and altinater?

there must be a drain somewhere , check that all interior lights are off when ignition is off , usual one's forgotton are in the trunk, map/glove box even under hood if fitted , if non found disconnect the neg battery terminal and place a test light on the terminal and the other end on the earth lead , if it lights up then you def have a drain somewhere , i would suggest that to find the problem component that you remove a fuse at a time until the light goes off , you will then know what circuit the problem is on and can investigate that circuit

1998 Ford Escort starting problem after driven.

You did not say anything about the fuel system. Have you checked the fuel pressure ? Has the fuel filter been replaced this year ?
Is the check engine light on when the engine is running ?
Could be low fuel pressure or a faulty throttle position sensor among other things.

My ford escort zx2 serfinteen belt broke car died, pushed car to parking spot, removed belt pices, now car dose not want to start, tested battery, battery good 12.45 , turn key no power to anything

Sounds like a wire was broken by the belt somehow.
You have some fuseable links and large fuses that power the components on the car.
I would look around for a loose wire close to the belt side of the engine, and check the fuses for power.

Ford Escort 1998 not starting. Replaced Alternator, Belt and Battery. Fully charged Battery starts straight away, but after a while of driving, switch engine off and the the car doesnt turn over like the...

Not a sensor or fuse. Possibly the battery: only way to know is have it checked. Best way is check when car wont start. Should have over 12 volts. I would suspect alternator is not charging battery. Put a voltmeter on battery when car is running. Voltmeter should read 13.5-14 volts. If not, something's not right. Check your battery grounds for tightness and cleaness. Sometimes a loose connection will keep battery from either charging or starting. If you still have the problem, check your starter for a short, drawing too much amperage.
