Starter removal wheare is starter

ck fuses on the fuse box inside the car is a fuse call star ck newtral safety switck located at the transmision wheare the shifter cable conects also have a starter relay

Instead of wasting time searching for the exact location, why not just remove each fuse 1 by 1, and replacing them as you go so you don't mix them up. If you have any blown fuses, you will find it in under 30 seconds. If you don't know the difference between a good vs blown fuse, ill post a picture to help you identify.

The horn relay is under the hood in the main fuse/relay box, remove the cover, the relay locations and fuses are marked on the inside.

You will require basic tools like socket wrench, screw driver, socket set, crescent wrench.That will be good to remove the fuel filter.To get instructions to replace fuel filter. Yes - your problem is in your starter - specifically the armature and / or brushes. The starter is located on the passenger side of the vehicle, mounted to the front of the transmission and back of the motor. The starter's armature kicks out and connects with the Ring gear ( automatic trans) or flywheel ( manual trans) and turns the flywheel ? gear to engage the engine. The clicking indicates the solenoid is completing the circuit but the armature is not engaging the gear.The positive battery cable goes directly to the solenoid which is mounted to the starter and the positive cable MUST be removed prior to removing the starter. The armature and related brushes can be replaced instead of buying a new or rebuilt starter / solenoid assembly but should be done by a qualified professional as it can be done wrong and cause serious damage to the ring gear or flywheel.

FUEL FILTER MOUNTED ON A BRACKET TO THE REAR OF THE INTAKE MANIFOLD.TO REMOVE FUEL FILTER.TURN OFF IGNITION.RELEASE ANY PRESSURE OR VACUUM IN THE TANK.DRAIN THE FUEL FROM THE FUEL FILTER BY OPENING BOTH THE AIR BLEED AND THE WATER DRAIN VALVE ALLOWING THE FUEL TO DRAIN INTO A SUITABLE CONTAIMER.UNSTRAP BOTH BAIL WIRES WITH A SUITABLE TOOL AND REMOVE THE FILTER.INSTALLING THE NEW FILTER ENSURE THAT BOTH FILTER MOUNTING PLATE FITTINGS ARE CLEAR OF DIRT.SNAP THE FILTER INTO PLACE WITH THE BAIL WIRES.CLOSE THE WATER DRAIN VALVE AND OPEN THE AIR BLEED VALVE.CONNECT A 1/8 INCH I.D HOSE TO THE AIR BLEED PORT AND PLACE THE OTHER END INTO A SUITABLE CONTAINER.DISCONNECT THE FUEL INJECTION PUMP SHUTDOWN SOLENOID WIRE.CRANK THE ENGINE FOR 10 - 15 SECONDS THEN WAIT 1 MINUTE FOR THE STARTER MOTOR TO COOL.REPEAT UNTIL CLEAR FUEL IS OBSERVED COMING FROM THE AIR BLEED.IF ENGINE IS TO BE CRANKED OR STARTED WITH THE AIR CLEANER REMOVED CARE MUST BE TAKEN TO PREVENT DIRT FROM BEING PULLED INTO THE AIR INLET MANIFOLD WHICH COULD RESULT IN ENGINE DAMAGE.CLOSE THE AIR BLEED VALVE RECONNECT THE INJECTION PUMP SOLENOID WIRE AND REPLACE THE FUEL TANK CAP.START THE ENGINE ALLOW IT TO IDLE FOR 5 MINUTES AND CHECK THE FUEL FILTER FOR LEAKS.

The fuel filter is located in the frame rail behind the right front wheel area.this will be on the inside of the frame rail.Make sure you relieve the fuel pressure before removing the filter lines.You will get fuel coming out when you remove the lines.Hope this helps.Good luck.

to remove it :

1. Remove the case side cover. Refer to Case Side Cover Replacement.
2. Disconnect the transaxle wiring harness.
3. Remove the 1-2 shift solenoid (315A).

2-3 shift solenoid valve--Inside the automatic transaxle
to remove it;

1. Remove the case side cover. Refer to Case Side Cover Replacement.
2. Disconnect the transaxle wiring harness.
3. Remove the 2-3 shift solenoid (315B).

you need to replace the blower motor resistor, the reason it only works on high is that position bypasses the resistor, it is located near the blower motor
