Re: My 2003 sebring go from hot to cold temp. the car...
Two things . 1 - Make sure your antifreeze level is correct and 2- when at idle 6-700 RPM these cars do tend not to blow a lot of warm air. If this doesn't help you might want to try a new thermostat.

Driver/passenger air vents blow hot then cold when using A/C. Back to cold when you restart the vehicle. Upvote (35) ... 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe ... I have a 02 Tahoe ,and the heat system is working only on the ceiling side of the car when turn.
Air can be purged. While your engine is cool remove radiator and reservoir caps. Place funnel in radiator. Turn heat to the highest position and start vehicle. Add coolant to radiator as needed while vehicle warms up. You should see bubbles coming out of radiator. Fill reservoir to between cold and hot fill lines. Replace caps when bubbling stops but before coolant temperature reaches normal operating temperature. Never remove the radiator cap until engine has fully cooled down.
The resistor controls fan speed, not temp. If the heat comes and goes, it could be the thermostat, or the radiator could be low on coolant, or have air pockets, or one of the blend doors may not be working correctly. The blend doors direct air thru the heater core and the vents.
Are you saying the air does not blow when the car is parked, or it switches from hot to cold ? If it switches from hot to cold, it could be low on coolant, or a blend door may be faulty.
Jeep Grand Cherokee is notorious for broken blend-air doors. This is the door inside the A/C-heater housing that switches the air from hot to cold. You must remove the dash to repair it.
sounds like a restriction in the coolant bypass and or heater core. you will want to check if both sides of the heater core hose near the firewall are hot on both sides if so you have an issue with the air ducts but if not then you may have a failing heater control valve or a restriction.
