My Chrysler Sebring has started to rough idle when coming to a stop, but not every stop, almost as though it wants to stall but changes its mind. It also seems to hesitate around 1500 to 2000RPM while driving. The gas mileage has not changed and it does not feel like the transmission slipping. It also only shows the idling/hesitating symptoms when warm. The engine light came on last Thursday but went away after two starts without the problem returning. I was told you cant check the code once the engine light is out. The EGR valve was just replaced in August. Also in August Mechanic warned me that the O2 sensor was going to go soon but wouldnt this cause the engine light to come on??
