Can't get boot opened in my Audi A4 02. Cant get into boot throught the back seats. Cant find how to open back seats to get at the boot from inside. Need to know how to get at the boot from inside the car?

Activator is disconnect at the powered unit inside. You need to gain access to this from inside the trunk/boot by removing the rear seat. Push the seat backwards with your knee while pulling upwards on the seat base. Same for both sides. Remove the back of the seat and go in the trunk to reconnect the activator.

go through the back seat with a pry bar. hit latch from inside the trunk or boot

Inter through the back seat. If the lock is broken you could unlock from the inside of the trunk.

if unable to turn key in boot then you will have to drop the seats down inside and climb in. remove the rear door panel and move the release mechanism manually. Make sure the vac pipes are connected and the mechanism isnt siezed.

if you cant turn the key in the trunk lock : use a thin oil, something like sewing machine oil, and squirt it in to the key hole, run the key back and forth in the hole then squirt some more, repeat until you can turn the key,
if you can turn the key and it wont open, then i cant help you, you could try to remove the back seats to gain access,(removing the bolts and removing them that way)

Go into the back of the car to the tailgate. You will have to pull the inside cover off and inspect the rods that control the latches and the latch itself. Also lubricate everything with Slick 50 One Lube and reassemble after testing.

you need to fold down back seats and remove boot panel from inside {bring torch} then pull on little bars that connect to door lock one will click then you should be able to pull the handle and open the door.

OOPS ,96?? try a coat hanger on the door button then you might be able to go in throught eh back seat if your lucky but not sure if you can pull seat down you may have to unbolt it

If u pull the rear seat cushion and back rest u should be able to crawl through.
