I changed battery, set clock but cannot get the : between the hour and minutes to stop blinking....seems to be losing a little time.

most clocks have the : blinking to show that the clock is working and not in set mode. clocks work of a crystal in the system so that the frequency is set . some clocks have a external device to make small adjustments to clock accuracy. If this is a clock in a vehicle have the voltage to the clock checked as any variation to 12.5 volts will affect the operation of the clock. Any dirty, corroded, loose connections will create a resistance to the current and lower the voltage.

I can't change the time of the clock on the Hyundai 50645P CD player/AM FM clock. There is no information in the Sante Fe manual. Any advice?

Try this, put the key in the ignition and let it be on the first turn right marked "ACC" or you can turn off the stereo and you will notice that only the Digital Clock screen will show. Turn the Volume/Audio/Sel knob and press on the "DISP" button simultaneously for about 4 seconds then release the "DISP" button. The digital clock will start blinking, and then use the Tune/Seek arrows pointing up and down to change the time. If the hour digit is blinking change the hour and after you have changed it press "DISP" then the minute digit will start to blink change it using the arrows, when you are done press "DISP" again or leave the clock for between 4 to 8 seconds the clock will start working normally.

I hope this works for you.

Good luck!

Dash lights blinking

Changing the battery probably caused some of it, as items will need to be reset. Different vehicles have different steps to perform. Just another one of those things the manufacturers forget to tell you I guess, and they're all guilty of it. Here's a link you may want to look at, but make sure you read all the alternative solutions too. Hopefully a trip to the dealer for the secret(s) won't be necessary when your done reading it.

Red blinking warning light beside clock in center of dash. What is it?

This is the factory installed "Security" light. It blinks to let you know that the security system is active, and to ward off potential theives. It's part of the factory anti-theft system. Also, it is a diode, and consumes virtually no battery power.
Normal condition; nothing to worry about.
