Hard to start, have to floor it and when it starts runs rough for a mins then smooths out, run rough sometimes when driving around town
Have someone turn the key on while you watch the injectors. If any gas leaks out of the injectors, without cranking on it) replace the o'rings around the injectors.
Wait a minute, is this a 1992 C1500 with a 4.3 TBI or a 1993 4.3 with TBI or CPI? This makes a big difference.
Is it a C1500 with a round air cleaner on top of the engine.
O.k. then it is TBI. Do the procedure that I posted first.
Any check engine light?
Yes you can, all you need is a paper clip. Jump terminals A and B of the ALDL connector and the check engine light will flash trouble codes.
O.k. no codes. 12 means system O.K. Try starting with the coolant temp sensor unplugged.

ok ill try that also i forgot to add that i add some injector cleaner to my gas and it seemed to help would start on first crank and run fine then start up again half way threw tank
its a 93" not sure on the TBI or CPI

ok i checked the o rings and didnt see any leaks, and this morning on my way to work its starting to run rough alot more if i slow down at a light, also fuel filter and fuel pump has been changed in the last 6 months
no check engine light and with it being a 93 i cant check it my self
ahh i'll try that and see what i get thanks
ok all it flashed was 12 over and over
could it be my TPS, or would it throw a code if it was that.
