SOURCE: Where are the spark plugs located on a 3.2 XJ8 V8

They are located in the head of the motor, the easiest way to find them is to follow the spark plug wires down from the distributor.

SOURCE: adding transmission fluid to 2001 jaguar s-type

On a 2000 s-type 4.0 There is a combination drain plus check valve on the bottom of the Pan and a fill hole on the back right side. Use WD-40 to help free up the allen-screw in the middle of the drain plug. Hold the drain screw while opening the level checking screw. If it is full, a small amount may run out. If light red fluid runs out it's OK. If brown, You got a problem. It uses special fluid! Take it to have it done in a Jaguar service facility. Or educate yourself on how to do it.

SOURCE: how do I change the spark plugs for a 2001 xj8

They are located under the black plastic covers on the top of the engine. Remove those and you will see the ignition coils. Take those out and the spark plugs are beneath them. There are no spark plug wires.

How do i fill my transmission fluid in a a 99 jaguar xj8

There is no fill tube on either the 5HP24 (1996-2002) or 6HP26 (2003-2006) transmissions. They are both "sealed for death". By changing your transmission fluid you will prolong the life of the transmission. Jaguar only offered a 50,000 mile warranty, so they stand to benefit if your transmission conks out at 90,000 miles. The car has to be up on a lift (or at least on 4 tall jack stands) to check the fluid level or to add more fluid. Plus, the engine has to be running. You check the fluid level from the fill plug, and the plug is right next to the exhaust pipe which gets very hot. If you turn off the engine during the procedure, about 5 liters of fluid will drain out of the fill plug. Here's a video which shows the process for changing the fluid and pan on a 2003 transmission. The procedure is essentially the same for the 2002 and earlier cars, but there are some slight differences in the transmission internally.

Trying to find were to check and see if i need more transmissin fluid in my 2002 pontiac grandamGT

To check the transmission fluid level in your car you have to raise the vehicle up and take out the transmission fluid check plug in the transmission. It is locate just below and forward (Towards the front of the car) of where the right axle goes into the transmission housing. To fill it take the plug out then remove the red cap located on the upper side of the transmission housing. You will need a long funnel to add the fluid. Add fluid until it can be seen dripping out of the check plug under the car. Then replace the cap and reinstall the plug. (There is no dipstick on your car)

Is it true that there is no dipstick?

No such thing as "dipstick" on the Freelander.
Filler plug is located on top of the transmission next to two electrical connectors.
Level plug is located on the bottom of the transmission, next to the selector cable.
Use 5mm allen wrench to remove it, and fill the transmission fluid till it starts dripping from the level plug.
BE CAREFUL WHEN LOCATING LEVEL PLUG, WILL DAMAGE THE TRANSMISSION IF REMOVE THE "WRONG" BOLT.

Where is the transmission fill plug located on a isuzi trooper

On the transmission pan. Lower one is a drain the upper one is the fill level plug. Crank up the engine and let it idle for 3 minutes. Then remove the upper plug, if none comes out squirt some in if some comes out let it drain until it stops. This is the upper plug, not the lower one.

Location of a transmission fill plug on a 2002 Neon SE

To make it even easier for you, drive to the transmission shop and ask the service advisor or tech and they can confirm with you and it will most likely cost you a thank you and a smile. They always want to leave a good impression,so when you need a repair done like a CV joint or a clutch replacement. You'll remember the for the help they gave you. You may want to tip them with a coffee or a box of donuts. Hope this helps. and good luck

Cannot locate the filler plug for the transmission. need to know where to add tranny fluid to

usually there is a dipstick for the tranny fluid. if you can find that you add the fluid through there with a funnel. other wise you will have to look on top of the tranny for a check plug.
