How to use radio controls after code set

Look in your owners book, you may be lucky. If not it may be written on the radio itself if it was removed by a dealer in the past.(Yes I know its not wise to leave it on the radio)

the radio will need a code before it will work again. the rest may be fixed with a reset using a code reader.;

if code in hand, read the operators guide. its in the book, in the glove box.
lost? its a very old car and the books are hard to find that old
but are found one ebay , used. search and get one.
or join a real Acura forum and ask there.. google that.

it says, and i parahraze.
1: day one put the green code card in you dresser.. saved.
2: ask the radio your code, write it day1 in the operators manual (lost)
3: then it says, if lost,(not reading book) go to dealer with the radio serial number.

and now a virtual blinker (called just software now)
just like cruise control, software only.

so when you move the lever, it closes a digital switch.
fixing thing works best first knowing now it works.'

649ohms is the code for left (cav2 >cav3)
then SCM send data on to the network "Can-buss" complex.
if switch fails, then it cant cancel
ca1>2.>3, all there go open status, infinity
the SCM see that state and transmits the command, blinks off,.
the code is "neutral"

the cluster sees this command and killls left blink
why would left kill fail and not right, Impossible.same code.

then same command goes to front MIP box. to FCM
front control module. if it cant here the netural command it hangs.
the actual module name is"front controL"
so if you have no scan tool you are sunk.
scan it and there will be errors. I bet.

what can you do besides scan it
sure fuses, and rest battery.
pull battery neg lug,but may kiLLL radio (lost pass word)
i say fCM scrambled.
or scm same.
one of the other. if the cluster fails , scm
if cluster works (stops blinking then FCM failure

CODE / DEALERS USALLY DO FOR SMALL FEE / THEY GET CHARGED EVERY
TIME THEY ACCESS THIS PHONE # / ONCE UNLOCKED YOU CAN PUT IN YOUR
OWN LOCK/UNLOCK CODE

in the radio book it gives procedure to set up code

just take it in to your local nissan dealer - they will look it up for you

My husband had the same issue with not knowing the code (we bought the car used, never given the code). If you remove the radio, it should be printed on top. Odd, I know, but that is where his was located.
