Mu husband changed the fuel filter in his 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500HD. Now it will not start.

Did he put the filter on in the right direction? If so might need a bit to prime up. Check and see if you can hear the fuel pump. Make sure the fuel lines didn't get kinked up. If it has a security system it might have been tripped also. hope this helped.

2003 chevy silverado 2500HD - died going down the highway 60mph - seems to be fuel pump/filter issue but I had it towed home and it does start up now?

Hello. Begin by changing the fuel filter. Also add a bottle of a fuel additive called seafoam to the fuel tank. Then drive it. J.

I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado. After I fill up the gas tank and start the truck the engine stalls unless I give it gas. After I drive the truck down the road it runs and starts fine.

You have sediment in your tank that gets losened and blocks your fuel line after you gas up. drain tank and clean and change both fuel filters and that should fix your problem

2005 chevy silverado won;t start.

i had the same problem, and it turned out the coil pack was moulding inside wich stopped the spark all together, i ended up changing my coil pack and putting on new wires because the ends connected to the coil were very corroded and that cures the not running part just fine

My truck loses power

In most cases it is the fuel filter. I don't know when it was changed before, but it should be changed at least every 8-10 k miles. Make sure you change the air filter too.
