I own a 1986 cutlass ciera with only 35,000 orignal miles, after driving for aprox. 3 months the car stalled and would not restart, after a lenghty time at the shop, it ran great, then stalled again, replaced the fuel filter, fuel pump, ignition control module and coil, new spark plugs, new wires, new rotor, double checked the timing, the gas cap, and everything fuel related that we can guess, car will run for a while and still stalls and won't restart til 8 or 10 hours later

It sounds to me like you replaced everything but the most likely cause of a stall while driving...The crank sensor.
SOURCE: 1995 sarari van stalls. replaced fuel pump
when you shut the truck off is/was there a swishing/bubbling noise coming from the tank?
Theres an orange rubber in the fuel tank that connects the fuel pump to the sender lines. if that rubber is torn you may get it to run but not stay running for more than a short period of time.

then i would replace whats called the hall effect sensor its that black plastic plate you see when you take dist cap off. just pull rotor and lift up the sensor.dist cap is what holds it on.also under the sensor will be a stamped sheet metal piece that looks like the top of a castle wall. make sure its not loose on the shaft.if it is then new dist will be needed
