In the morning, it will crank up fine. When I get off work, it seems like everytime it gets hot it will not crank back till it cools down.
You could have a faulty engine coolant sensor or intake air temperature sensor. Fuel injectors clogged or dirty flooding engine.
Clean fuel injectors, replace fuel filter and air filter, and see if the problem persists.
If it does ECT sensor is bad. If CMP sensor was bad, the vehicle won\'t start whether cold or hot. CKP senso and CMP sensor work together if either one fails, the vehicle won\'t start. Have the vehicle code scanned.

Yes. First, in the fuse block under the hood check INJ A fuse and INJ B fuse. INJ A fuse is circuit 1039 which feeds the coil. If the fuse is OK, replace the coil electrical connector. I stock 2 of these at my dealership because they are needed quite often.
FYI P1351 is an ignition coil control circuit DTC.
SOURCE: crank shaft sensor? is this the same as cam shaft
no each one has its own job,
crank sensor is counting crank shaft rpms
cam sensor is counting cam shaft rpms
is there any lights coming on just as this is happening?
i think you should have the fuel pressure checked when it dies out,you need at least 50psi at fuel rail

Could be the problem. You have any way to check engine codes? You used to be able to short out two of the terminals on the conecter and count the amount of times the check engine light flashes, but don't know what year that went up to or if you can still do this.I see the part runs about $100 so you realy don't wan't to be guessing.

The PMD ( pump mounted driver) black box on the side of the injection pump is shutting down when it gets hot, Best to replace entire injection pump for warranty purposes> repair should be made by qualified diesel mechanic as the **** timing has to be set with scan tool after replacement
