do you mean it wont idle or is it suttering when you come to a stop if it wont idle its normally the idle air valve located on the throttle body on the intake
If it has set up for too long I would try filling up with premium fuel. I am not sure if that has points but if it does under the distributor cap the points can become corroded and make the motor spit and sputter. Otherwise from the camry's I have seen that have sat always ended up having fuel problems. Hope this helps!
sounds like you just cost yourself a whole lot of money,When any german car says stop it means it.....by starting it up and running it for the second time, you did so with no oil in the engine, and guess what ......you now need a new engine.....as you have siezed that one.unless you can rebuild it,you are looking at around 6 to 7 thousand pounds sterling(ill let you work out how many dollars that is.......)OUCH
i have had some experience with that exact prob with the exact same unit and model. it turned out to be an issue with the air flow meter module. but in your case, it's stated that you already replaced that, it may be a problem with the wiring of the air flow meter module. as oem wiring tends to be brittle after so many years. try doing a continuity test on the wires first to see if you're getting the correct voltage and resistance. if not, replace the wires and hookup terminals.
sounds like the torque converter lock up might not be disengaging. You might also want to check for engine vacuum leaks. Does engine idle smoothly when in park or nuetral ? if the idle is good I would suspect torque converter problem.
