SOURCE: 2011 Chevy Traverse - CAR
My suggestion would be to not buy GM cars and trucks. A man died in VA Beach in one of these same vehicles because the vehicle suddenly caught on fire while driving due to a fuel leak in the engine compartment. GM will never admit there is a problem. Cheaper to pay off families of people dead or injured than to re-tool the plant and/or do a recall.
If you own one of these "gubbment motors" vehicles, get rid of it while you still have your life.

No its not,its sticking, let the dealer fix this and remind them its a safety issue overlooked
Hi Amy! I have the same problem! My engine failed, because the oil filter gasket came loose, and fell into the piston. Needless to say, the whole engine became clogged. They replaced my 2011 Traverse's engine with a new one, but now it has a hard time starting. I'm picking it up tomorrow, hopefully for the last time. If it's the same problem, I will contact a Lemon Law type Attorney. Any feedback? thanks!
