The car will loose power when driven, I know that when that happens I shut it off while running and then the car will drive fine. I know it must be withing the idle. I changed an oxygen sensor, purge solenoid, idle air control and now I'm thinking of changing the throtle positioning sensor. I got the check engine light on, but I'm afraid that the code will be the freaking oxygen sensor again. Any ideas. I have read that this is a common problem with this car, but hard to find....
Get the code. Codes never tell you to change a sensor, they just indicate the problem circuit they are seeing. Only sometimes it is a failure of the sensor.
You probably need test equipment like a digital voltmeter. Maybe join a neon forum to find out how others solved the problem.

If that is what the code is showing, change the sensor.
The sensor regulates the rich/lean fuel mixture, if it's bad, it can cause problems.

I don't know how the above could have any effect on temperature. Is the vehicle full of coolant? In my opinion you have two different issues

The codes listed all point to the transmission being in bad shape or some wiring got crossed. Check with a trans shop for an estimate.
