I need a wiring diagram for a 2009 Saturn Vue for the rear hatch electric lock

Rear hatch lock will not unlatch electrically. Does not seem to be getting a unlock signal. The rear closure fuse is OK. I get 12 volts across two of the four pins at all times. I get nothing across any of the combinations of the other pins when I hit the door unlock remote (twice to unlock back doors and hatch) back door looks work OK.

SOURCE: 2000 Ford Focus electric locks/acuator failure recurring problem

I would follow their recommendation as I had the same problem with my car. They unhooked the power to that door and it was fine. The problem was a short in the wiring in the door that was causing the problem. So maybe get them to check the wiring in the door as well.

SOURCE: electrical wiring diagram for door lock

Try "clearing the cache" by removing the negative battery cable for a few minutes. Before doing so, be sure you know how to reset the clock and radio codes & presets.

SOURCE: power locks for rear doors and hatch not unlocking

you have two relays on the interior fuse block one for locking and one for unlocking. Swap them and see if the problem is now such that they will not lock. If so you have your answer.

2006 Saturn VUE rear hatch won't open

The is a plastic plug on the inside panel, usually. Remove it to get to the latch with a screwdriver. If no plug, remove the top bezel on the hatch. Remove any screws on the side. pull out the bottom part and reach down to unlatch. Once open, remove the screws from the bottom. This will give you access the system. Check for power and grounds. Check wires for continuity. Check fuses/circuit breakers.

The rear hatch on my 2006 Saturn vue will not unlock with the other doors! So I can't get the hatch open!

The most common issue for this concern is the rear lock assembly. The lock has a electrical actuator that locks and unlocks the lock assembly. WHen the actuator goes bad, it no longer can unlock the hatch. You will have to replace the lock assembly to fix this issue. The hard part is that you have to open the hatch to do this. Most of these cars have a manual unlock but you have to find it. Look at the bottom of the interior panel on the hatch, some come with a small cover plate that can come off, inside is a lever that can unlock the hatch. Its best to have the new part from the dealership so you can see what the lever looks like. If you do not have a cover plate, then you have to try and get the trim panel off so you can reach the release lever.

My saturn vue 2008 hatch i add open & in locked mode, it xoes not respond to key ?

GM usually puts a mechanical release for there electric doors, but it seems they did not for that model. And the door panel is impossible to remove without destroying it in the process. BUT you can pull it loose in the middle and gain access (very carefully) without breaking the panel.

I suggest seeking some one that has experience in this matter to solve the issue, as inexperience may cause your rear panel to be broken appart.

Locked trunk

The release contact switch must be dirty and corroded...you will have to jiggle the rear hatch...when trying to open again...when open spray the hold down bracket, and the under side of the hatch that makes contact...the best spray for this is PB Blaster, available at Walmart auto parts section...this will not hurt the electric contacts...as you still cannot open the rear hatch, you will need to remove the inside panel of the rear hatch to expose the release arm on the inside of the hatch. Hope this helps.

My rear hatch will not open on my 2005 saturn vue. There is no key lock on the outside in my model. Any idea how to fix it?

Sorry, I don't have the data now..... but. Some hatches have a manual release on the inside. There might be a small plate near the door center that you can remove and open the hatch with a screwdriver.

but...I'm not sure tho about your car.
