My 1999 Chrysler Town & Country has a terrible chattering noise when it is put into gear. I also noticed that when you put the car into gear the actual engine will thrust foward or backwards depending on if it is in reverse or drive. The fluid levels show to be fine and no leaks are evident. It does seem to shift harder every so often but is not a consistently hard shift and is typically at the initial take off position. What might be causing the chattering noise.

well if you have a lot of millage it could only be the gearpump in the transy thats finished, unfotuntly ...you cant really change -it without rebuilding the all transy
other than that you still can drive-it but try letting the gear go on by it self ,you could damage your van by doing that !! you mignt not have choice but if you do ...try not doing-it!

there is a plastic plug-in that screws into the side of the tranny and when it gets full of metal shavings it wont allow you to shift your gears...i dont remember exactually what its called but look it up this may be your problem

Make sure the cable to the trans is adjusted properly.

But I am afraid I can't tell you want all these codes mean for your car. It was probably not related to the change in fluid that was performed. However, it is serious and should not be driven until fixed. Risk of total destruction of the transmission is too great. I would assume the symptoms are so diverse that it may be a bad transmission control module. Which is about $200, and fairly easy to replace:

But there are other possibilities, such as a bad relief valve could be letting main pressure drop too low.
This is the type of thing which does require an expert and can't easily be done remotely.

engine light is telling you somthing is wrong..very possable a hose may have been nocked loose during your service ( if a lube shop serviced it fast they may have knocked off a evap line checking the air filter.. stop into autozone and they will pull the code for you for free..need to know why the light is on before we can go any further
