2001 dodge ram left front speaker not working

I have a 2001 dodge ram 3500 which has the infinity premium stereo package. The speaker on the drivers side front quit working and the tweeter on the same side front is nothing but static. the other side works ok and the rear is ok

Check your wires but static could be if you ran your twelve volt amp wire and your stereo to amp wire on same side.

SOURCE: 2004 Dodge Ram 1500, Infinity sound system. CD/AM/FM not working.

You most likely need a new radio. They go bad all the time in the Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep. Don't know how many of them I have replaced.

No bus error code has nothing to do with your fuse panel this is a ECM /ECU error code... sorry but get ready to spend some money for a new ECM

A code P0500 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
1.The Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) is not reading (functioning) properly 2.There is a broken/frayed wire leading to the vehicle speed sensor 3.The vehicle's PCM is not correctly configured for the actual tire size on the vehicle
The simplest thing to do is to reset the code and see if it comes back. Next, check all wiring and connectors that lead to the speed sensor. The location of the sensor depends on your vehicle. The sensor could be on the rear axle, transmission, or perhaps the wheel hub (brake) assembly. If the wiring and connectors are OK, then check the voltage at the speed sensor.
P1693 (M) DTC Detected in PCM/ECM or DTC
Detected in ECM
A 9Companion DTC9 was set in both the ECM and PCM which is related to the above DTC code.

SOURCE: Remove headlight assembly from a 2001 Dodge Ram

On the upper grill side of the headlight assy. there
should be 1 or 2 push pins that hold the seal on the
headlight assy to the front of the fender. Also check
for a guide/push pin on the inner top of the assy on
the outer fender side. That should be all there is to
hold the headlight in place. Hope this helps.
