91 mercury topaz cant set the clock on the radio

They are held in the transmission with a snap clip. Take a small flathead screw driver and wedge it in between the axle and tranny and turn axle clock wis and counter clockwise and it will come out. When you put the new one in, you will hear it ;; snap;; in place

Remove the two screws and hold it firmly and pull it out, new one goes for around $15.

I have done pdf free seach on google and looked but the manuals they listed were never the one i needed, check craigslist in your area maybe someone is selling it cheap... It is very hard to find a free chilton or haynes manual online, been there done that too many times.. sometimes though a blind squirrel will find his nut!! Good luck

Check the timing. If the timing is set too low engines run hotter and idle rough. Are you loosing any antifreeze?

Call a recylcler (junk yard) and they can tell you if the head will fit the 93 tempo

disconnect the spout timing connector at the TFI ifnition module on the side of the distributor, the timing mark is on the torque converter, u set it to 10 Degrees BTDC

Right frontof the car, kinda buried in between the engine. You'll need a long funnel to replace any transmission fluids!

To set clock, perform the following steps:

1. Press and hold VOLUME button in (time will display).

1. Press tune (+) to set minutes.

1. Press tune (-) to set hours.

1. Release VOLUME button when desired time is displayed

For 1998 Mercury Tracer (and probably Ford Escort)

Put key into ignition and turn until just before start.

Turn off radio.

Press and hold "H" button and adjust the hours with the "+/-" volume buttons while holding the "H" button.

Press and hold "M" button and adjust the minutes with the "+/-" volume buttons while holding the "M" button.
