Me too, 2007 with 33K miles. I read low brake fluid will cause the issue. I need to buy some.

Go to the fuse box and change the fuse for "Gauges". I think this might solve the problem.

you will need to pull off the four retaining nuts holding seat in place. Measure the length and width of bottom support frames. Many seats are interchangable.

If someone before you bypassed the cruise control transducer and the cable goes directly from the transmission to the guage then the cable will be bent too much to work correctly. The car should have two cables. Once from the transmission to the transducer and then another from the transducer to the guage.
