Blower motor resistor

It's located under the dash on the passenger side, under the glove box. A sign that you may need to replace the blower motor resistor is the blower only working on the highest speed, not on low or medium. If this is the symptom you are experiencing, you can identify the part by buying the new resistor, then replace it with the like part you find uder the passenger side dash.

Hi i have a94 deville and the blower stopped working and a funny smell (like something is burning in dash)What could cause this?

It may be blower motor failure,I would suggest you replace the blower motor and also replace the blower resistor. The motor is located under the passenger side of the dash,Remove the plastic cover to access it.The resistor is located on the same side also.

I need help replacing my blower resistor. I don't know where it is located....

Look down under the dash on the passenger side. You will see the blower motor. The resistor switch is just a little lower and to the left. It will have a plug going to it. It is not real hard to replace.

Hope this helps.
