My right turning signal sometimes doesnt work. The light in the dash stays on, but doesnt flash. When this happens the front light stays on when the signal is applied, but the back one doent work. Ive replaced the bulb, but the problem still persists. It might be a bad ground, but I dont how to fix it.

  1. Turn 4 way (hazard) lights on check to see that all lights are flashing if rear is not flashing suspect bad ground since 4way usually goes through brake light.
  2. If everything flashes you may have a bad flasher relay find it replace it.
  3. If light still will not flash check light socket by removing bulb & looking for burnt melted contacts or plastic. You find any of these problems consider replacing socket.
  4. If you do not find any problems with socket use a cheap test prob connect alligator clip to metal ground near socket with bulb out turn on blinker carefully touch each contact inside socket when you find the right contact prob should light up & blink.
  5. If you cannot get prob to blink move prob ground to new location do step 4 again.
  6. If you still get no blink start probing wires coming into socket until prob lights working away from socket.
  7. Ground is on the side of the socket when you look in it.

Fast flashing turn signals

I would change out the turn signal bulb on the right front. A blown bulb can cause the fast flash issue. The signals staying on is not related to the bulb being blown. That is most likely a problem with the multifunction switch, the knob you use to signal.

Right turn signal will not continue to tick.

Check your bulbs. Almost always your description means a bulb is burned out. Check for good grounds.

Brake/Signal Lights Problem.

Sounds like a ground problem to me. Bulbs are not getting there ground to complete the circuit so they backfed through the other bulbs.

One of my turn signals flash but the other stays solid

could just be a faulty relay, if you have not had a problem before i would think it was the relay.

When i turn on my dash lights my right turn signal stays solid green and doesnt blink

Hello Kellie.

Usually when this happens a filament in a bulb has broken and crossed over to the signal light circuit feeding it from the park light circuit.
Check the bulbs in the rear right and front right.
You might as well replace all while you have them out, they are not expensive.
They take a #1157 bulb.
If you need more assistance with this ask me here.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Turn signal not blinking . Stays lit bit no

It could be your flasher relay going out. Should be under the dash.
