Radio won't turn off after ignition is switched off and the door is opened. I was reading that it might be a bad BCM relay but there are 7 of them in the front fuse box. Any suggestions on how to diagnose and fix the problem?
Disconnect Battery cable for 10 minutes or so and reconnect and You will probably have your problem fixed !
If the wrong key was inserted it may have bent a tumbler pin,maybe try some wd-40 or similar and work it with the right key,might drop the tumbler back,,if not the whole ign. cylinder will have to be changed

I personally have not had this problem but if you look in your owners manual there will be a section that will tell you exactly where and what fuses and the size of them do as well as the relays and there jobs as well. also in the fuse block there should be a little pare of tweezers and spare fuses or you can take the blown fuse to any auto parts and they will be able to give you the right good fuse if problem persists check and see if something is stuck like cd or a blown speaker hope this helps good luck

The antenna plugs in to the back of th radio. it could have came loose and fallen out. When you pull the radio and if the anteena is secure in it, then you have lost the receiver in the radio, very rare, Replace the radio at this ppoint.

Nope - nothing to do with any of that - mine does it periodically - front door, back doors --- it;s the computer that's running it all. Ive had an STS and a late shape CTS- - beautiful cars but ***** reliability. shame. Anyone want a RHD 3.6??
1988 CADI Eldorado Biarritz, 4.5 liter v8: locked keys in car, called locksmith he put inflatable air bags in door to stretch 4 space to slide his crooked metal stick in and reach pull the handles, push electric door lock button/switch and manually but doors would not open. He than pulled the keys out of ignition and out the crack. Guess what, both doors sounded like they unlocked with the key but would not open. Is there some kind of anti theft protection that kicks in when you mess the doors and locks inside? Help, I have my keys but car doors will not open. Did stretching or forcing doors open a bit with these airbags possible cause damage?
