50 deg o/s temp. Drove the car the day before, with no problems? Tried jumper cables, then a new battery. No bad fuses, plenty of fuel, sitting on a level lot.
Apperenlty the whole not starting thing is a design flaw on the car. You're supposed to let it warm up completely before shutting the vehicle off. If you just moved the car a few feet, then turned it off, you could have flooded the engine. I'm having mine towed this morning... Apperenlty the whole not starting thing is a design flaw on the car. Hi, chances are you have at least one bad battery cable. Check them with an ohm meter. If you have any resistance in your reading, say above 0.02 change your cable. Hope that helps.
it could be any thing , start with fuel , make sure there is fuel in the car , then if you have a jumper cable , conected to other car and see if it start , if not then go and check the fuese like fuel pump relay , starter relay ..etc ...dose your car crank when you started or it totally dead like no sound ??
Check the cleanliness and tightness of the battery terminals. Loosen, twist and retighten them. Also check the cleanliness and tightness of the black earth cable where it attaches to the engine block/bodywork. A bad earth can cause the symptoms you describe.
A quick check you can do is to connect a jump cable to the battery negative terminal - the earth - and connect the other end of the cable to somewhere suitable on the engine/bodywork.
If the car starts no problem with the jumper cable - it's pointing towards a bad earth/connection somewhere on the battery earth
With the switch on take coolant temp sensor connector off and take a wire and jump the 2 prongs on the inside of the connector and if the fan comes on then replace the coolant temp sensor.
My RX8 had the same problem. First, change your battery cable ends. On the Positive cable there is a white wire that powers the power steering. It probably has a bad connection at the battery post. I cut the end off my rx8 and just put a regular battery cable end on it and my problem was solved.
check the engine and look at the battery and if the battery doesnt work go to auto zone or just check if there is something stuck in the engine or somewhere around there that happened to me and it worked lol ~^_^~
