My 1996 3.3 6cyl plymuth grand voyager van engine turns over but wont start

Like a campfire, search for ignition (sparkplugs SPARK!), AIR (air cleaner- is it plugged with a dead cat crawling up there or what?)
Or my favorite, FUEL. (dies the fuel get to the injector> is the plug wet from fuel?) . One of those tings usually keeps a vehicle from starting.

My 93 plymouth laser wont start

If a starter is able to crank the engine but it won't start you usually have either an electrical or fuel problem. It's also remotely possibly that it's compression.

If an engine has proper fuel, spark and compression, it will start when you crank it. So your challange is to find out which part isn't working right. Start with fuel. Spray a little starting fluid into the air intake while someone tries to start the engine. If it starts briefly when you're spraying starting fluid, you probably have a fuel delivery problem. That could be injectors, fuel pump, fuel filter, relay, fuse... who knows what until you check into it.

If it doesn't start with starting fluid, check the spark. Pull a plug wire and attach it to a spare sparkplug and set the plug on a solid metal part of the engine. Have a helper crank the engine while you watch the plug. If you have a good spark, it might just be out of timing.

In any case, you'll need to start isolating the problem. Find out which part isn't working then you'll know what to replace/repair.

My 90 acclaim turns over but wont start. i put new battery in it, and new spark plugs and wires, plus it has a new starter

First you need to know if there is spark, the simple way to do it is to pull a sparkplug wire, insert a phillips screwdriver into the boot, hold it about 1/8 of an inch from a metal part on the engine and have somebody crank the engine for a few seconds, if there is spark should be of a electric blue tone, if not your coil, or the igniter are bad, if spar is present that will tell you if your problem is somewhere else like fuel delivery or electronic fault,

I have a 1993 Plymouth Laser and it wont start. It will turn over but no spark. I tried to do the on ACC on ACC On and the check engine will not blink any codes. Any suggestions?

crank sensor, PCM, or Ignition module could be bad You car may have a ign fuse or ecm fuse that could of popped. Now if your not sure it has spark then you could have a fuel issue. If someones sprays a little brake cleaner in the Throttle body and it starts then you have a pump issue. If it still doeant fire up then you know for sure you have a spark issue.
