All cyls misfiring. 97 honda. How many miles?Sounds like plug wires or a wet distributor cap. Yet if it is a Vtec The misfires could be occurring after the cams engage. Possible VTEC solenoid issue.

thank you so much as it turns out it was the distrubitor cap

SOURCE: will a cylinder head from a 1996 honda civc 1.5l

The 1996 civic has a 1.6L b-16 engine. The only difference between the v-tec and non v-tec engine is the dual overhead cam i believe. The 93 civic also should have a b-16 engine in it. The cylinder head should work.......

2001 windstar im getting codes po172 po174 po301 po302 po 303 po304 po300 installed new coil pack twice new wires, plugs, cam and crank sensors, fuel andair filters, pcv valve and now get these codes. ...

Get your ECM replaced. Usually it's next to battery or inside front fenders. The rain must have shorted out connections and fried ECM. Engine will sputter until it is done. Usually autozone, advance auto, or dealer has ECM.

I have a 1998 ford ranger with the 4.0 eng. which is failing emissions codes are po303, po304, po352, so I bought a new coil and put it in now the engine will not start. It will start to turn over then...

Well code 352 is for a problem with the primary circuit for the coil which could be several things other than the coil itself. You would need a shop manual to get the testing procedures. There's no distributor, so it could involve the cam or crank sensor, the engine computer, or the wiring.
Code 303 is for now power on cylinder 3 and 304 is no power on cylinder 4. In this case probably no spark.

Hello i have a GTI its a 2.0L manual transmission, i have been having problem after problem thus far. Current engine codes PO422, PO300,PO304,PO303,PO302. I do not have a code list to see what these are...

I think that PO422 is the Cat Converter, it may be bad or may be just the O2 sensor.
The PO300, 302, 303, 304 code have to do with the ignition coils or wires. (302, 303, 304 means there are ignition /firing problems in cylinders 2, 3and 4). If your lucky just the wire and new spark plugs.
Google "engine codes Jetta" for more on web. Good luck.

After diagnostic was told i have misfire on cylinders 3&4. I was told to replace the coils, is this the proper course of action. 2001 Ford F150 XLT Supercrew 4x4 4.6

I guess you have COP--coil-on-plugs

I doubt both #3 coils are bad

You need the PO303,PO304 & all the other
codes, I would also guess you have

This is a common problem but the cyl codes
don't always tell you what to do.

The proper coarse of action is to put an
oscilloscope on the primary or secondary
of the coils or use other scope accessories
to evaluate the problem.

Your driveway solution,which will work
is to buy 1 coil. Put it in #4,back cyl on
pass side and test drive about 25 miles.
A really hot day works best.
If nothing improves you move the new coil
to #3,putting the OE Coil back in it's #4
position. Use a sharpe on them to number
where they came out of.

You could have 2 bad coils but you have to
walk one at a time.

If you have 100,000 miles on the vehicle
you replace the front 2 O2 Sensors,Clean
throttle plate and MAF Sensor with the
CRC Products for that

You can not have any vacuum leaks anywhere

2003 freeland code p1319 , misfire code po301,po302,po303,po304, misfire at idel, high speed drive fine,

OBDII those codes generally mean misfire.

P0300 multiple missfire
P0301 missfire cyl 1
P0302 missifre cyl 2
ect.

Ensure you have the proper spark plugs. Check the coil boots/wires, look for burn marks. Anything beyond that you may have to take it back to the shop.
You are misfiring on all 4 cylinders and it is not spark plugs. Those misfires if not addressed can cause serious engine and/or cat converter damage. There are lots of things that could be causing it and most of them need to be checked out at a shop - unless you want to invest several thousand dollars in the appropriate equipment and training.
