2001 montero sport xls sport horn on my alarm how do i stop it i pulled the fuse but it is still goint

You need to determine if it's the horn or the alarm. My Montero (not Sport) had 3 horns. All 3 of which go off w/ the Alarm, but only one is connected to the horn on the steering wheel. I could not make mine go off w/o pulling the relay under the hood.

My spring was bad in the steering wheel. I was able to bypass the wire using instructions that I actually found on a Mitsubishi Forum. Link below:

How do I replace the thermostat in a 2002 mitsubishi Montero sport xls

Find the lower hose. Follow it to the engine. Remove the metal housing from the engine that the lower hose is attached to. The thermostat will be behind it.

02 Mits Montero Sport XLS started squealing. Pulled over and shut off engine. Only squeals when is on and smokes from a black cover on front right of motor. Timing belt? Timing belt pulleys locking up?...

I know this website www.reliable-store.com that i get manuals from, and they have all models online that solve all simple/technical problems like professionals

I also brought for my 1989 BMW, such old model, they had it and it was very good manual. Go ahead, I bet.

What is the easiest way to remove an alternator out of a 2000 Mitsubishi Montero Sport XLS?

You have to take out the right front side wheel and you have the alternetor in front. There is a perpendicular bolt the release belt tension two more other bots to take out.

Mitsubishi wants the belt changed every 60,000 miles. If there is any doubt, change it.
