Did you reset the computer. Usually disconnecting the battery for about 10 minutes should do it. If this does not fix it, you need to recheck your work. Something you did has caused the message. Did you short circut a wire, burn a fuse, forget to reconnect something? The immobilizer probably works by immobilization of the vehicle's coil circut. Thus, causing the computer message to display about the coil issue. Try reset computer of vehicle should work.

If the sparck fire has no fire, then check the coil module plug and clean with dust remover, then plug again and check if ther any fire from the coil conectors.

The point is if no fire never will come up, you will need to check this point to have fire.

SOURCE: replace ignation module and coils car runs for a

Most likely the ignition coil or DIS System is not shorted out, but disabled. This vehicle is equipped with a passkey security system. What this system does is disable the spark to the engine if the computer thinks that the car is being tampered with. The problem can usually be traced to the ignition switch. This is where the passkey sensor is located. Usually replacing this sensor or full ignition switch will take care of the problem. On some occasions though they are few and far between a replacement key cut at the dealership may allow the system to operate correctly. Do keep in mind, this particular scenario only happens about 1 in every 25 situations. I really hope this information helps you. If not please notify me of the problem, I would appreciate the feedback. Good Luck!

My ignation fuse is blown. i'll replace new one it blown again. what is the coz and how to fix it?

The short answer is something is pulling too much amperage thru the circuit.
You would need to find out what is in that circuit then check for shorts to ground.

Where is the distributor cap on a 1998 kia sportage?

the Kia does not have a distributor, let alone a distributor cap, the engine is equiped with a ignation coil at each cylinder, there is a crankshaft and camshaft sensor that send signels to the onboard computer system then the computer sends the signals to the ignation ignator it then sends the signals to the coils at each cylinder. a much better system then a distributor.

I dont know where to hook up immobileizer bypass wire

An immobilizer bypass is an electrical circuit which allows current to flow to whatever component is starved of current to keep the engine from running (usually the coil). The immobilizer opens the circuit to the coil, the immobilizer bypass closes the circuit to the coil.

If you didn't install an immobilizer circuit, then you don't need the bypass. There are probably instructions you missed in the manual explaining the immobilizer circuit.
