I have a 2006 lincoln navigator. The drivers seat will not recline back. All other functions work. When I hit the switch the switch clicks but seat will not recline. Any ideas of what may be causing this problem?

SOURCE: heated seats 1999 lincoln navigator

the fuse is #110, it is in the power distribution box under the hood, it also runs the moon roof, so if the moon roof works the fuse is good, if this is the case the heated seat switch is the likely cause and by far the most common..

SOURCE: heated and cooled seats quit working. won't work on either driver's or passanger's seats. checked the fuses and relays and they are all ok. what's wrong?

Remove fuses 10 and 11 in the underhood junction box. Leave out for 5 minutes then reinstall. If the seats start working your Zephyrs dual climate control seat module will need replaced.

SOURCE: 2003 lincoln town car forward and backward driver seat won't work

The only way to solve this issue is to extract the seat and inspect. The front and back movement is different from the other actions that the seat may be able to do...

Look for damaged, dirty and miss aligned track components.

Testimonial: "It was helpful but my problem in taking the seat out is that it is stuck in the very extreme back position and i cannot get to the back nuts to remove"

SOURCE: My 2003 Lincoln Navigator air suspension

My 2003 Lincoln Navigator has given me so much problems, it shakes, makes annoying sound, and sometimes it turns off by itself when I'm in a stop sign or red light! I have taken it to 3 different mechanics who have said that the diagnostic shows that it's not gettting furl? They've tried changing spark plugs, gas filter...any suggestions?

My 2008 Lincoln Navigator driver seat back/forward does not work

Your seat has two motors under the seat that controls directions also cables that join the motors check those to see if they are moving when you press the switch

Why did my driver seat stop working? When I try to adjust my seat, I hear a click but nothing happens. I have a 2006 Lincoln Navigator. Can you help me fix my problem?

Sounds like the clicking sound is a 'stripped' gear in the seat adjustment area. You will have to take the seat out and look at the gears....might be able to fix or you might have to go to junk yard and get another one.

The drivers seat will not recline, the seat still moves back and forth

Someone will have to remove the seat and check the motor and linkage to see what is broken.

Driver's seat not moving 2006 Navigator

Most seats have more than one motor anymore depending on the features, if it raises/lowers but will not go forward/backward or will only go in one direction (moves forward but not back) its likely you have a faulty motor. If nothing is working check your fuses first then check the switch.

Driver seat back won't raise after its been reclined

The control switch has developed a problem (intermittent contact or just broke inside) Replace the switch. That should fix it.
