My engine is running rough, i get black smoke from exsuast, battery light stays on, i just replaced the alternater, and checked fuses, battery light still on,i ran computer and i get the code p1124
You use Google to look up any OBD2 Codes
You got issues that are beyond the home driveway,
you need a repair shop
You have serious rich condition, that most likely has ruined
the exhaust converter by now & washed the engine cylinders
of oil & contaminated the oil with fuel
Misfires along with the leaking injectors, vacuum leaks &
all,it's a mess,lots to diagnose & work on
The codes is for a tps sensor, that isn't going to fix much
of what you got going on
The battery & charging system have issues you can't
figure out
I would leave it at a shop for a week or more

remove the coil pack and look at bottom of it if it shows any cracks coil is bad very common on these vans if you have a noid light check for injector pulse on #4 if you have pulse and good blue spark most likely the injector is bad you have to remove upper plenum to get injectors out let me know how you make out

DIS ignition, no distributor to " get in there " with....

Check all fuses, both inside and outside. Use a volt meter to check the output of the alt., by setting the meter to D/C/ volts, put the black wire on battery GROUND and the red wire on the big terminal of the alt.,,, which the wire is held on with a nut and washer, or a lock nut.If your reading is around 12.0 - 12.6,,, try another alt....
If the reading is 13.8 - 14.6 ,, you have a problem between the alt and the battery.
Hope this helps.

If the light was flashing when it came on, then it means your engine is misfiring.
A solid light can mean anything from a loose/faulty gas cap to a transmission issue.
This
light comes on when the computer detects a
fault of some sort in its diagnostic tests. If it keeps detecting this
issue, the light will remain on. If the light turns off, then it has
detected that the issue may no longer be present.
In
order to find out what the exact reason was for your light, You need to
have your car computer scanned to retrieve the code that
the computer would have stored when the light triggered. Most garages
will do this free of charge. The code will tell you what may have
caused the light to initially turn on.

There could be many issues. These codes read your engine is running too lean. Check : all your vacuum hoses for leaks, PCV valve and hose, MAF sensor. This may require an experienced technician to figure this out. Hopefully I help'd!!
