Need code to unlock car stereo for acura tl 99

Your radio code is 22425.

Only the dealer can give you these codes to make the stereo work - the idea is to keep people from stealing your radio and reselling it.

all you have to do is go to dealer with that serial # and they will give you yhe code, bring cars registration and id to prove its your car, i do it alot but over the phone because dealers know me,hope this helps.

Call an Acura dealership with that serial number and they should be able to provide you the code. Or you can take it directly to the dealer but you will be charged labor.

I will add that when this light is on it means the trans has a fault/problem, no matter the fault code number of which there are about a dozen

I have a 2001 Acura TL that I bought a month ago and the stereo volume wont go up past 1. Do i need to replace it or unlock it?

you need to get serial # ON RADIO and then call dealer they can look up code with correct serial #

look on the fusebox, glove compartment for a number

Normally it is listed in your vehicle owners manual. If you don't have one your best bet will be at the dealership by giving them your VIN number and they can run it through to retrieve it. Some dealerships will charge you just to pull out your radio code for your vehicle. Honda's normally charge $99 just to retrieve this. hope this helped.
