Did you try cranking the engine in neutral instead of park ?

i dont know is there a relay tha will act the same way?
all this points to security system how can i be shur?
I got this from allexperts.com - - you may want to do some additional research. ANSWER - - Ok, you need to take down the steering column underpanel. Then you want to ground out the factory alarm disarm wire. Normally, you would insert the key in the drivers door, turn left, then right to disarm and reset it. If yours is malfunctioning, you can disable it for good by doing the following: The FACTORY ALARM DISARM WIRE IS lt.grn/blk/ sil dots |-|anti-theft module, The Anti-theft module located to left of steering column. Says Theft Warning on module. Once Located, splice into this wire with a simular guage wire, and put it to a solid chassis ground. This terminates the alarm functions entirely. However, at this point, this car would be exceedingly easy to steal, so I suggest you get an aftermarket alarm system to protect it from here on in.
I would check the circuit between the key switch and the starter first.
this is going to retern normal function? will it start?
Like I said, I would want to make sure the problem is in the circuit between the key switch and the starter first. Rule out the starter solenoid and any other possibilities. If you don't get warning lights when you turn the key on, the problem could be the key switch.
key switch seems to be working , relays are clicking alarm wants to sound . i get a faint chirp when i tern key in start position
You are sure the engine is not locked up, right ?

SOURCE: 1994 Nissan Pathfinder won't start, even jumping it.
I had a similar problem w/ my 94 Pathfinder. The problem was a cheap security system that was offered in that year model and the wiring between the ignition and the starter was run through this system. The dealership was able to by pass the security system and this fixed the problem. For years other mechanics told me it was the starter but I knew it was something else.

SOUNDS LIKE YOUR ALARM SYSTEM HAS DISABLED YOUR START CIRCUT. CHECK WITH DEALER FOR OPERATION OF YOUR ALARM CIRCUIT. AS FAR AS I KNOW THEY ARE THE ONLY ONES THAT CAN RESET IT.
