THE ONLY TIMES IT SHAKES IS WHEN I AM PUSHING THE GAS...WHEN MY FEET IS NOT ON THE GAS IT DOES NOT SHAKE
Most likely inner tripod joint on front axel worn. Just fixed my 2001 Regal replacing ft. axel left side. I am a 33 yr. GM master Tech

several things to check out:
get it started and go have the battery, alternator, and voltage regulator tested. No charge at most parts stores.
IF they all test ok then you will need to remove the starter and have it tested. The solenoid could be bad. Was it wet outside the day it wouldnt start? if so then oisture is probably getting into the solenoid.

The starter is on the underside of the transmission, there are wires feeding the solenoid (remove) 3 starter bolts (remove) pull off transmission/flywheel
