Good day,I need to replace tensioner on my audi a4 tdi,My problem is to check if any valves are damaged and how to set timing again

If your belt broke you'll need to replace the head Audi's have non-interference engines so when belts snap it causes all kinds of havoc

Hi have an Audi A3 TDI 2008 the cam / timing belt has broke and I'm looking for timings, can't find any instructions on the internet that look the same, any ideas?

You can purchase manuals for Audi's from Bently Publications. They come on a CD and are loaded onto your PC. However, if the timing belt has broken, there is a good chance that the valves have hit the pistons in one or more cylinders as Audi's have interference engines. This will probably have done serious damage to the engine.

1999 Audi A4 V6 automatic does not want to start. It cranks but almost sound like there is no compression, what can be possible cause. Car is not using oil or anything was fine previous day

When was the last time you had the timing belt replaced? If it broke, you likely have internal damage. Hope it's something else, but this is a possibility since it had a belt and not a chain.

Timing belt broke onidle what could be the dmage

This engine is a non-interfenece engine, which means that internal engine damge is unlikely.
The tensioner could be damaged inside the timing cover (not likely), so the repair should involve just the timing belt replacement and the tensioner. If the water pump is located under the timing belt cover, replace this at the same time.

My timing belt broke on a 1992 audi 100 cs can it be fixed

if the car did not travel too far, when the belt broke, and there is no major oil leak from bottom of engine, then you may be lucky not to have caused internal damage, therefor it can be fixed

Engine

Timing belt broke? Wow. Waited too long for maintenance and now you got a busted engine.
Well, best thing to do is probably to disassemble the engine to see what got damaged after the timing belt broke, then go from there.
Alternatively you can buy another engine. Anywhere from 3000.00 to 6000.00. Might be able to get a good deal at a scrap yard.

Clicking or spray noise on my '03 Audi A4

I'm not sure what is causing the noise, but if the timing belt was broken, your engine would be trashed and would've shut off as you coasted to the side of the road, so I wouldn't sweat that. I'd take it back to the dealer though, and have them test drive the car and check it out - since it seems you just picked it up from them and are now hearing noises you never heard before, it's possible that they didn't set something up right. Try and use every feature our car has - AC, heat, defroster, power steering, you name it - any feature your car has, and see if any of them don't work anymore, as that could help localize the problem.

You said something was "spraying" - I'm assuming not a liquid, but more of a rushing air noise. That would signify a vacuum leak, as if a vacuum line were damaged, pinched, or not reconnected during the servicing of your car. Be sure to bring that to their attention.

If something turns out to be damaged, and they give you a hard time, take your car to an independent Euro mechanic, have them verify the problem, and call the dealer back with the assessment of the independent mechanic, and force them to take care of what they broke. If they refuse, call a lawyer and try again (I'm only mentioning this because a lot of people I know have had trouble getting Audi dealers to rectify problems they create).
