Check wires leading to horn, test for power & ground. If that's fine, test horn (from alternate power source) to see if it's broken. Generally it's going to be a problem with the wires to the physical horn under the hood, or the horn itself.

I have a 1998 C2500 Chevy truck I replaced the horn fuse and all I get is a clicking sound from the horn relay. Should I replace it also? What else could be wrong?

There are some connectors behind your steering wheel that may be messed up. My 1999 chevy s10 had a dysfunctional horn I had to remove the airbag from the steering wheel to access the wiring harness to the horn and i had a broken wire that caused the horn not to work I replaced that and problem solved. Also Your actual horn is usually located in your front bumper and that may be damaged if it is replacing it will fix the problem. Hope this helps good luck

1998 c2500 cheyanne starting problems

First of all I would go to like Checkers, or Auto zone and let them put a battery draw down tester on your battery and check the battery.Second I would check your battery connections if the batter checks out. Also check engine grounds. You will hear noises when re-powering up. That is normal.

2002 Chevy Avalanche horn does not work.

Using a test light check for power at the horn while someone pushs the horn button. also check for bad fuses or relays that are very well labeled in your underhood and dashside fuseblocks. If you have power but the horn dont blow, replace the horn. If you dont have power, go back and dig through fuses and relays. One of these will help to fixya!! Good Luck

1998 S10 Chevy Horn not working

You most likely need a new clock spring rotating contact under the steering wheel, it is a plastic ribbon with wire in it to connect the horn button and other accessories to the steering wheel while allowing the wheel to turn.

Can't find the fuse for the horn

There is no accessory fuse in the engine compartment, although the fuse that opperates the horn is also attached to the cigarette lighter and that is located just inside the drivers door on the side of the dash.
