Installed new timing belt /tensioner and water pump. It cranks and idles fine...better than before. However after warming engine up and then revving up to 2500-3500 rpms-there is a ratting noise coming from intake camshaft side and also rubbing or light grinding noise from distributor cap. I think the belt is off by one tooth between camshafts but for LH to Crankshaft- exactly 43 teeth.

Did you try looking through the fuse panels or relays?
SOURCE: where crank shaft and camshaft?
The camshaft position sensor is located on the timing cover, near the top of the motor. The crankshaft position sensor is located on the same timing cover near the crankshaft. Just a side note, more than likely the crankshaft position is your issue and it's under a recall from Nissan and they will replace it for free.

Maybe oil or coolant leaking on it shorting it out! Good Luck!!!!

You are incorrect sir. There is a very good Youtube video showing you exactly where it is that is how I changed mine. The Crankshaft is located behind the engine block below and around from the cam sensor which is easly spotted looking at the engine. The crankshaft is in a difficult spot but once you figure out where it is it's easy...ish hope this helps
