SOURCE: Mass Airflow Sensor 2005 Chevy Malibu. 2.2 ltr.4 cyl.

The MAF is in the flex hose that delivers air to the engine, it has a 5 or 6 wire connector going to it.

You will have a no start or stalls after engine gets hot and then cools down restarts, the sensor is on the front of the engine mounted into the cam gear cover if it is not visiable get under the, (here is a picture) car and look.d37e0b9.jpg

location is under the hood where the aircleaner is there is an electrical connection that plugs into the mass air flow sensor

the firing order is 1-2-3-4-5-6

As you standing in front of the vehicle

the coils from left to right are 1-4-6-3-2-5

the rear cylinders from left to right are 1-3-5

the front cylinders are 2-4-6.

Location of MAP sensor on 2006 Saturn view 2.2 L

The Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor on a 2006 Saturn View 2.2 L is located on top of the cylinder head, right side, about 2/3 of the way back. There is one screw holding it in. You will need to take off the plastic engine cover off to access it. The sensor in the airbox is the MAF sensor. Mass Airflow Sensor.

96 chevy 2500 hd 5.7 v8.Replaced 3 bad 02 sensors and mass airflow sensor...when get to 3000 rpm it loses power... Especially when in passing gear...took to mechanic and said was wrong or bad mass...

Remember, they don't hire rocket scientists at Auto Zone, ask your local dealership for the right part and then purchase the part at another auto store.

Where is the mass airflow sensor on a 1992 chevy caprice

There is not a MAF sensor. There is a MAP sensor. It is located on the drivers side of the intake. It will be a black rectangular box with a green connector. The connector will have three wires.

I got a chevy corsica and it turns on but when i put in gear and hit the gas it turns off but it has gas and spark

try this unplug the mass air flow sensor this should be neer the throtle body located rite where the air intake tube from the air filter meats the throtle bodyt if the car runs then its the maf sensor
