The radio speakers stopped working on the radio. No sound on radio, map CD player
SOURCE: Radio powers up but no sound
start with main fuse panel, looking for a blown one, unlikely to be blown speakers unless you play real loud!!

you probably pulled the left speaker wires apart when trying to get it out. there should be enough slack in the wires to pull out or they wouldn't have been able to hook them up. the only way to fix it is to take the player out. if you don't think you can do it have someone who can do it. ( the wires might just be caught up on something, try wiggling a little to free them)
SOURCE: RADIO SPEAKERS STOPPED WORKING??,FUSE FOR RADIO IS
First check to see if the radio is coming on. Does the light work and can you change stations. If it appears that the radio is working visually, either your speaker plug in at the back of the radio for the speakers is loose, or you have an internal problem in the output section of the radio. However, first I would check my fuse panel & make sure that the fuse that powers the radio is good. Rick

SOURCE: how to remove the radio cd player from a 2005
I had a flat battery and now need to remove the radio cd player to find the security pin which is apparently on the back of the radio. How do i go about this without spending heaps.
