Ok the p1000 is incomplete checks When changing a battery you are suppose to keep the car hot at all times. There is a tool with a battery that plugs into cig lighter for it. Since this didnt happen you are going to have to have your computer reset.Reset all adaptives then read the codes because all the codes you have now may not be true codes. Hope this helps you TIM P.s Just clearing codes will not work must go to a jag dealer are someonr that has a computer called auto logic

If I am understanding your post, I believe you do have a levelling
system
and it should be near your light switch on the dash. It is
the
type of switch that you depress first, it then springs out and
you
turn the small knob (just like your instrument panel lights
adjuster
next to it.) What you do not have perhaps, if your car is
not
fitted with HIDs (high intensity headlamps), is the automatic
levelling
system which is a legal requirement when HIDs are fitted
due to the
high power of the lights....
if you don't have a self-levelling system then you'll have a manual
system,
operated by a knob under the light switch so that you can
adjust to
compensate for a heavy load in the rear of the car.
Testimonial: "I did see the little knob on the dash under the headlight switch. i thought it was to dim the dash lights i will check it out and let you know. "
