Dim battery and brake warning lights on

I just bought a used 2010 Sentra with 9400 miles and noticed that the batter and brake lights are dimly illuminated. When I pull up on the parking brake, the brake warning light is brightly illuminated but the battery light remains dim. The battery appears to be made by AAA and looks brand new and i don't believe that a AAA battery is an OEM product. What could be the cause?

Go a auto part store,Autozone,Oreilly's or Advance,have them check your battery and alternator,it's free and only takes a few minutes,other things to look at,are your battery cables clean and tight,is the serpentine belt good,not turning loosely.

This is your Alternator. Check the Battery Cables for Tightness in Addition.

If you can drive it,go to Autozone,they will test your alternator and battery for free,only takes a few minutes.

Brake lights work but are very dim

Battery light
Check to see if the belt has broke that drives the alternator, if it has not broke, Then check all electrical connections to the alternator. Last take the alt to the shop to have it tested.
