try to do a hard reset. remove battery cable for 2 minutes and reconect. if it does not work try starting with a spare key. if you dont have a spare key then you have to buy a reprogram a new key. this is something only the dealership can do. well it depends where you are
*Turn over. No start.>> Check spark and fuel. *After remove the key but car still crank. (turn over) The ignitin switch is stuck>>Check and replace. or ignition wire could be burn that keep touching metal frame.
If it is chugging and running rough after you turn the key off, it may be "dieseling" which is caused by carbon buildup in the cylinders and the idle speed being higher than spec. Pulling the coil wire from the coil and the engine continues to run is a good example.
On most cars you would turn on the ignition key, do not start the engine, press the gas pedal to the floor 3 times(if 3 times doesn't work, do it 5 times), turn the key off. When you start the car, the light should be off.
Try turning the steering wheel a bit when using the key. The steering wheel lock puts pressure on the lock cylinder to keep the wheel locked. If this pressure is high, it can keep you from using the key.
Your car uses a transonder key, a key with a small chip embedded inside. The transponder is matched to the immobilizer unit in your car. When the key is inserted into the ignition, the immobilizer searches for that transponder, if it's not near the ignition, the car will just keep turning over and not start. Your only real options are to replace the steering lock or buy a transponder bypass unit, which I do not recommend. Just do a google search.
Here is the factory procedure to program a new key(s), I recomment only factory keys, you need to use the working key to do the procedure;
1. Insert a previously programmed coded key into the ignition.
2. Turn the ignition from the 3 (OFF) position to the 4 (ON) position. Keep the ignition in the 4(ON) position for at least one second, but no more than 10 seconds.
3. Turn the ignition to the 3 (OFF) position, and remove the coded key from the ignition.
4. Within ten seconds of removing the previously programmed coded key, insert the other previously programmed coded key into the ignition.
5. Turn the ignition from the 3 (OFF) position to the 4 (ON) position. Keep the ignition in the 4 (ON) position for at least one second but not more than 10 seconds.
6. Turn the ignition to the 3 (OFF) position, and remove the second key from the ignition.
7. Within twenty seconds of removing the previously programmed coded key, insert the unprogrammed key (new/valet key) into the ignition.
8. Turn the ignition from the 3 (OFF) position to the 4 (ON) position. Keep the ignition in the 4 (ON) position for at least one second.
9. Your new unprogrammed key is now programmed. If the key has been successfully programmed it will start the vehicle’s engine and the theft indicator light will illuminate for three seconds and then go out. If the key was not successfully programmed, it will not start your vehicle’s engine and the theft indicator light will flash on and off rapidly. If failure repeats, bring your vehicle to your dealer to have the new key(s) programmed.
To program additional new unprogrammed key(s), repeat this procedure from step 1 for each additional key
